Vetting is Serious
We take vetting extremely seriously. At the point of onboarding for a new vendor / carrier, we run a series of checks to ensure compliance. Additionally, before every job a vendor / carrier handles, another set of per-job checks is completed. Any red flag during onboarding or before a job will render a carrier ineligible for the job.
Recommended Practices
We are constantly adjusting our vetting practices to ensure that we are providing the most rigorous and thorough vendor / carrier selection possible. Our current recommended minimum standards are below. Certain freight, customers, and situations may warrant an alternative set of standards. We adjust accordingly in a collaborative manner on a case-by-case basis.
Proprietary Database - Must be in good standing and have no unresolved negative remarks in our proprietary carrier quality database.

Authority Age - Must have received authority at least 3 years ago.
FMCSA Safety Score Rating - Must be "Satisfactory" or "None"
FMCSA Category Scores - Each category score must be below the FMCSA Intervention Threshold for that category.

Insurance Provider - Carrier insurance provider must not be on our excluded providers list.
​
Cargo Insurance Coverage - Cargo insurance coverage must be appropriate for the load.
